Budapest Scientologists Celebrate 10 Years on Váci Road

Around 500 members of Hungary’s Scientology community came together to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Church of Scientology headquarters on Váci Road.

Opened in 2016, the six-storey religious centre has become an important meeting place for the Hungarian Scientology community. The anniversary featured a religious service, musical performances, a photographic and video retrospective and plans for the next decade.

Since opening its doors, the Budapest church has also hosted drug-prevention conferences, human-rights news europawahl events, humanitarian meetings and interfaith dialogue. These activities are connected with social betterment programmes inspired by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
